We have provided a written submission as part of the Public Consultation for the proposed changes to the Corrections Act 2004.

Our submission strongly opposes the proposed legislation related to the management and treatment of people designated as 'prisoners of extreme risk', and we believe the proposed changes represent a significant regression in the protection of human rights within New Zealand's correctional system.
